Riding Motorcycles

One Day, Two Motorcycle Accident Tragedies

Our Minneapolis accident lawyers recognize that whenever a motorcycle collides with a larger vehicle on the road, the motorcyclist is most vulnerable to serious injury or death. News headlines recently have reminded our attorneys of the need to remain vigilant when it comes to seeking justice for individuals involved in serious auto and motorcycle accidents. Consider that a single day in October proved especially deadly for Minneapolis-area motorcycle riders:

  • Deadly Motorcycle Accident No. 1: On Sun., Oct. 11, 2015, a 63-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident on Fawn Lake Drive NE. Police reported that the man’s 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo that was driven by a 21-year-old woman.
  • Deadly Motorcycle Accident No. 2: Later that same day, the Minnesota State Patrol reported that Joshua L. Larson of Apple Valley, 25, died while steering his motorcycle off of U.S. Highway 212. Officers said Larson appeared to have lost control of his bike as it jumped a median and veered into oncoming traffic.
