Easy-Bake Oven/Toy Injuries
Easy-Bake Ovens sold since May 2006 have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Hasbro due to serious child safety concerns. The recalled toys pose a significant danger to children because the traditional heating bulb was replaced with an electric element that can become as hot as a conventional oven. Additionally, the slot leading into the baking area has a "trap door" effect that can cause a childs hand to become lodged in the oven, causing severe burns. Several children have been injured due to these defectively designed Easy-Bake Ovens.
Goldenberg & Johnson is leading the charge against Hasbro for placing these dangerous toys on the market and is representing a number of families whose children were injured while using recalled models of the Easy-Bake Oven. If your child was injured by an Easy-Bake Oven you may be able to file a lawsuit against Hasbro to recover for your childs injuries. The attorneys at Goldenberg & Johnson can answer any questions and discuss your potential case. You can speak to one of our attorneys by calling toll free (800) 279-6386 or by emailing us.
