MedWatch
This Web site contains the FDA safety information and adverse event reporting program used by consumers to report defective drugs or medical devices or to check the status of medical products.

Breast Implants on Trial
From PBS's Frontline, this Web site includes news, documents, studies and other information related to breast implant defects and litigation.

Institute for Safe Medication Practices
The Institute for Safe Medication Practices is a nonprofit organization devoted to medication safety and serving health care providers and consumers.

RegSource.com
this Web site offers regulatory information and news on drugs, biologics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

National Patient Safety Foundation®
The NPSF® is a nonprofit organization dedicated to patient safety. This site offers information on patient safety, resources to prevent medical errors and updates on Congress and government progress in this area.

National Library of Medicine
This resource is part of the National Institutes of Health. Users can get information about drugs using either the generic or brand same. The site also contains warning and recall information.

Physician's Desk Reference
An on-line version of the Physician's Desk Reference, the "Bible" doctors consult about brand-name medications, dosages and uses. The site also contains the FDA-required patient information brochures and links to clinical-trial information.

National Council on Patient Information
These resources are sponsored by the National Council on Patient Information and Education. They have links to information about antibiotics, flu shots, buying medications online, and resources relating to specific medications. They also cover over-the-counter (OTC) medications and provide information on commonly used OTC medications, tips for selecting and using OTC medications, tips for parents, brochures in English and Spanish, and a list of links to other resources.
